Soon I was absorbed in learning the coniugations of French verbs with Brother Kenneth, finding out how little l knew of English with Brother Gabriel, exploring the in- tricacies of science under the leadership of Brother Vincent, attempting to resolve the financial problems of the world in Brother Kenneth's economics class, and making the ac- quaintance of that lovable little x which would plague me for four years in mathematics.
