MY FIIESHMA YEAR When September finally rolls around, It is then I begin to hear Rumors that I am bound To enioy my freshman year. Each time I pass the chapel by I think of You so very near- Who from Your place way up high Will bless my freshman year. My hours are filled with pleasure- No time to shed a tear, There is no rule to measure My happy freshman year. I thank Thee, Lord, for my freshman year, With all its ioys and sorrows- For all its memories I hold so dear- In Your hands I leave the tomorrows. One day she went a-fishin' A-fishin' at the lake And she was iust a-wishin' The honor roll she'd make. Three tests she'd have on Monday If she could only 'think But every time she closed the book Her mind went on the blink. I wish I were a real fish The kind that runs in schools I have an awful time Remembering all these rules. With Algebra and English And all these other books It isn't any wonder l'm always on the hooks.
