The State-bound Crusaders board the bus for their trip to Wahoo. S.A.A. played Cedar Bluffs for the right to play in the State finals. The Pep Rally and bonfire were held the night before the big game. This Page Sponsored by PETE’S CLOTHING 1011 W. 3rd The Priest at Wahoo Neuman said a Mass for players and Pep Club. As a first year coach at St. Agnes I was surprised by the outcome of my first season. The boys went through the regular season undefeated and received an opportunity to participate in the state play-offs. The team showed good deter- mination and represented the Academy in good form. Although they lost in the finals, they had a very fine season of 9-1. - Coach Tom Greenlee Larry at the bonfire. Larry Powell scored St. Agnes' only touchdown of the night. The season ended with S.A.A.'s first loss in twenty outings. 29
