JR. HIGH ACTIVITIES The 8th grade in Art Class with Miss Happ. The Junior High Track Teams didn't have many track meets this year. Participants and their events include: Laurie Stafford (shot, 880 relay), Jenny Egnoske (100, 880, hurdles, and 880 relay), Irene Burke (discus, 440, 220, 880 relay) and Pam Gunia (high jump, long jump, 880 relay). The boys’ team includes: Joe Kunzman (discus), Ted Dillon (hurdles, 100, 220), Pat Colerick (100, 220), Kyle Saylor (long dis- tance). and Don Reynolds. Ribbon winners in the Soil Conservation Essay Contest were 6th graders Andrea Gerdes (pur- ple), and Pat Curtis (white), 7th graders Pam Kirchner (purple), and Greg Nepper (white), and 8th graders Irene Burke (blue), John Essay (red), and Ted Dillon (white). Citizenship winners are Jeff Moran and Pam Gunia, alternates and Pat Colerick and Irene Burke, medals. The Junior High Stu- dents playing Kick- ball at noon. 7
