Peace be with you my friends, as seniors exchange peace with tears and laughter. Liz might not have been John Denver, but she helped make our Mass more special. We are a light to the world. . . . morning walks and bedroom talks, oh, how Who am I? Someone who enjoyed getr ig stuck in the mud, going for hikes at any time of the day or night, sitting around fires listening to them pop and listening to some- one's thoughts. Someone who enjoyed those pillow fights, those in-concerts and those caves. Even someone who enjoyed the tears for we knew they could not be held in. Soon John Denver was singing it's Goodbye Again and we knew we must go. Feeling depressed for something good that was about to end, but excited for what lay ahead, we slowly started back. We learned that we were someone who showed a lit- tle more of ourselves and got to know someone else a little bet- ter. Sophomore — Freshman Retreats Sophomores share together in the holy sacrement Father Rooney leads discussion with the Mary Essay discovers a quiet place to find herself, freshmen and sophomores. This year's sophomore-freshman retreat was directed with the theme, ”Christ is my Friend.” The retreatants found themselves better, after they discussed what their parents, their teachers, their friends, and themselves thought of them. Each retreat day ended with a Mass, in which the soph- omores and freshmen offred them- selves, newly discovered, to God, their Father. The freshmen take some time out to relate to each other.
