Familiar faces twenty- five years ago. Love that Meathead! Have any queens? Go fish! Welcome to the Senior Room! We see the hourglass: Time slowly slips through our fingers. But we can't stop the sun So we kiss the flowers, embrace earth, And jostle the wind. Our eyes reflect the vivacity of youth Knowing it’s an image That one pebble can ripple away. We've come to the other shore. God, the wine's bitter! Oh, if we cry with the rain, we soon Lose ourselves in puddles. Stopping means death to flowers, Earth, and wind. I've tried to hold the moonbeams, Tried to capture the spring gusts. They're far too crafty for me. Time--it mercilessly torments me. The horizon lies ahead— I recognize the tune. . .
