THINGS” happened daily, and the PEOPLE TO WHOM THEY HAPPENED were all the students at the Academy. For the Seniors, there were many examin- ations, and occasional honors,-such as after the Regents examinations when Su- san Ressegieu was a 'winner' and Walt Cheatle, Jim Kosmicki, Cynthia Kosmicki and Dale Engelhaupt were alternates. And there was the 'thrill' of measuring for caps and gowns. Bernice Kosmicki was very exact in measuring Patricia Kloch. Mother Monica was the guest of the Freshmen on their trip to the Black Hills. Yes, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. . . But EVERYONE, including Sister Virginia, was happy the day Jim Kosmicki received a telegram from Senator Hruska, informing Jim that he was one of five competitive alternates for an appoint- ment to the Naval Academy at Annapolis. Sometimes the monthly assemblies were very pleasant, and SOMETIMES they were very ser- ious, but usually, — they WERE VERY EFFECTIVE! lU PEOPLE SPONSOR: COAST TO COAST HARRY AND HELEN SALE: OWNERS
