But because of bad weather, three of the Crusader games had to be cancelled. These disappointments did not cause any loss of spirit. Working closely together, the team came up with seven wins, and one loss, improving on last year's splendid record. No Crusader fan will forget the Assumption game. Under the leadership of Bob Kosmicki and John Kirchner, the team fought hard every inch of the way and finished triumphantly. Though Don Hahn and Pat Kosmicki were not too often spotlighted, these senior dynamos played major roles in that game and through the season.
