NELDA BOYCE Nelda is a senior ut S.A.A. whom everyone likes because of her friendliness and sincer- ity. Cooperative, efficient and energetic she is alwavs there where something is to he done. We all extend to her our best wishes for sue- «o and happiness in her chosen career a medical doctor. CHARLES WETZLER This livewire of the senior class came to us from Colorado when in the fifth grade and we have enjoyed his kind, easy-going ways ever since. Though never in a hurry, he manages to keep just inside the mark. He has been very active in athletics and has received s veral awards for football and basketball work. He is a very genial and popular secretary of our senior class. JOAN MANNING When Irish eyes are smiling in the senior room, they arc usually those of Red Man- ning our youngest senior. With her mis- chievous smile, spontaneous laughter and sparkling charm, we find her the life of the party. Top honors go to Red for school spirit and enthusiastic cheerleading both of which won for her the title—FOOI BALI. QUEEN. SALLY NEWBERRY With a smile as winsome as her hair is ru Iv. Sally makes a photographer's task an easy one. H-rr interests are many but she de- votes most of her time to singing and listening to operas. Seniors MARY BAUMAN The “Bauman Twins’ a familiar tune that has been ringing up and down the corridors of St. Agnes for the past thirteen years. These identicals are inseparable and where you sec the one you see the other. However, we are very glad they came in a pair for their kindly, cheerful wit and winsome man- ner have brightened many an hour. Plenty of initiative and plenty of vim that's the twins. MARTHA BAUMAN I DOROTHY KING MARIANNE BRENNAN MARY HELEN STEWART LEONA WALTERS She came to us in her junior year and quickly made her way to the top in popularity. Her beautiful voice, spark- ling smile and personal magnetism has gained for her a lasting place in the hearts of all gnesians. She has de- veloped a fine school spirit and we know that next to Wyoming St. Agnes will always be one of her favorite haunts. Marianne has shared with us the joys and tribulations of St. Agnes since kindergarten days. She is a girl of Irish wit and laughing eyes always b-ieht ami cheerful and just the kill' of friend one is always eager and proud to have. In the future she plans to take up nursing and we are certain that she will cheer many pa- tients with her winning ways. “Bctter-late-than-ncver Stewart we call this little, plump, Irish lass who was born in sunny California, lived in Colorado until she was thirteen and then came to Nebraska and St. Agnes. Mary Helen is small but mighty and makes a welcome addition to any crowd. II 're is a vivacious blonde who hails f,om Hcmin :ford and who carries top honors in her class. “Onie” is fa- mous for her captivating smile, friend- ly manner and accordion playing. She was our sophomore president and as our present Sodality Prefect can al- ways be depended upon to boost class activities. In her future profession as teacher we know that she will be a grand success. • • •
