The quarrel has become really serious, and the dear old couple, Ma ond Pa, who love both the youngsters, are deeply troubled. Pa warns Ma not to try to patch things up—they'll see through her like a shot. But it's Ma who clears things up just the same—Ma and her blue teapot.

Chairman: Jackie Bachelor ANNUAL The onnual staff has worked hard and long to pre- pare this record of class activities. To the graduates and hiah school students it will be a source of pleasant reminiscence. To others it may be a happy means of making new acquaintances and gaining knowledge concerning the students accomplishments. It is the hope of the members of the staff that its readers will derive as much pleasure from its per- usual as they have from preparing it for publication. SCHOOL PAPER The official organ of St. Agnes Academy, appropri- ately called Around School is an interesting and in- formative publication. It has been distributed weekly throughout this scholastic year and has disseminated all announcements concerning school activities, in addi- tion to the usual humor and news items of general in- terest contributed by the various departments and classes. The members who were actively concerned with its publication and those who gave it their moral support deserve commendation for making it a success.

FOOTBALL QUEEN On November 26, 1946, the Football Queen wos crowned at a formal dance held in the auditorium sponsored by the seniors. The candidates Jean Becker, Jackie Bachelor and Edna Dillon were close competi- tors, both in popularity and intelligence. The require- ments of the candidates were an overage of eigthy- five per cent in grades and four years ot Saint Agnes. The football team chose their Queen in strict confid- ence, thus creating curiosity throughout the school. Early in the evening the candidates received beautiful rose corsages. Later, Jim Stewart, football captain, announced and crowned their Queen, Jackie Bachelor. Jim, representing the team gave the Queen a dozen roses, which she in turn, presented to the Blessed Mother. KING AND QUEEN OF HEARTS On the evening of February twelfth the Sophomore class gave a delightful Valentine's party in the audi- torium. The most popular boy and girl were to be crowned King and Queen of Hearts. Everyone was in suspense wondering who the two lucky people would be. Finally the time came to onnounce the winners. DARLENE BEIBER wos our Queen of Hearts and JAMES GIRARD our King of Hearts. A beautiful corsage of red carnotions was presented to our new Queen; a white carnation was presented to our new King. The second in popularity were the Prince and Princess; the third, the Duke and Duchess; the fourth, Lord and Lady.
