The music was provided by Paul Drake and his band. The climax came when the co- chairmen, Elaine Edden and John Bracken, crowned Mary Louise Camp- bell and Richard McDermott as the Queen and King. CgQ,g,,,,,,, aizfieminoiroin ir rp On February 7, ninety-eight Seniors left St. Agnes bound for our nati0n's capital. We spent four days in Washington and one day in historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Among the impressive sights were the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington,s home at Mount Ver- non, the Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Mem- orial, and the XVhite House. The Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at Catholic Uni- versity and the Franciscan Monastery were most inspiring. VVe will always choose our Senior Tour of YVashington, D. C. as the most enjoyable memory of our four years in St. Agnes. , 'f - , , '--. W1 Gathering around the Presidenfs chair at Arlington. 5 A B .,.. i A visit to the Franciscan M onastery. Seniors gathered around a Liberty Bell. We'll never forget the wonder- ful times at the Congressional Hotel.

130 IK WSG To initiate Catholic Book Week, Miss Eileen Riols, a librarian of the New York Public Library, described the enjoyment and inspiration one can get from books published recently. Two librarians from the Rockville Centre Public Library were our guests. Through the courtesy of Mrs. Mary Grant we were able to put up a display in the public library. Miss Eileen Riols addresses students at Assembly.
