Qyieximen - DEI GS IKE THE KNIGHTS or oLD, we eagerly sought the grail of wisdom and good counsel. Our attempts were small and rather wide of the mark. Everything was new and different, the oratory, the library, the cafeteria. Studying biology and algebra was new and confusing to us. We also learned new approaches to English and social studies. YVe had new worries, such as gym suits, and health notes which seemed to evade our eyes. Library science and religion, although last mentioned, were not least in our new curriculum. VVe trained our minds and bodies in order that we might be able to pass the rigid tests that would make us knights. We learned to serve our masters and to develop a responsibility to our- selves and our superiors. just as the pages looked forward to the second class of knighthood, the squire, so too we looked forward to becoming sophomores. , 'w Front Row: George Kromer, James Smith, Patricia Roach, Marjorii?
