Standing: Sister Miriam Leone, Joan Winkler, Patricia McSweeney, Mary Felten, Marie Panico, Rita O'Rourke. This year, the Red Cross was again active in extending Christ-like charity. Cookies were made for the hospitalized veterans at Mitchell Field. Red Cross members volunteered their services in the blood donor R A C campaign. Christmas stockings were sent to veterans' hospitals e throughout the island. This year, one of the most successful, was brought to a climax with participation in the International Art Pro- gram and the sending of gift boxes to needy European children. Thus, in our early youth we have become the hope of a nationalistic world. in 'Q -if, But Dale, those are for the veterans!
