V. team by Coach Ray Coleman, anc look forward to eventual varsity com- petition. Out of 14 games, eight were won. Tom McAvoy and john Crowley dic a fine job with the pitching assignment: and were well handled by catcher Bil Gillen. The infield of Bob Scholly Ed Murtaugh, Paul Fitzgerald and Jon O'Keefe proved to be a tight defense. Thf outfield was covered by Ed Held, Roge Smith and Artie Lamb.
