Under his experienced tutelage the Catholic educational system of the Diocese of Brooklyn has afforded to many the op- portunities of a Catholic education. This system is not just for today but for generations to come. Archbishop Molloy is truly a champion of Catholic education and the hopes of the future rely on his untiring efforts. 8

Realizing the immense task that lies before him, he has appealed to Mary for aid not only by pro- claiming the Dogma of the Assumption but also by dedicating 1954 to her honor as Marian Year. Let us follow the example of His Holiness and place our hopes for the future with Mary.

Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn To bring the word of God to those outside the Faith, Bishop Boardman concentrates his ef- forts in supervising the mission societies which operate in the diocese. He can truly be called the hope of the missions because of his excellent work. He appeals to the faithful of the diocese to aid him in furthering his work. Most Reveren RGYIHOHJ Kearney ST. D., l.C.D. Auxiliary Bishop of Brooklyn By the administration of the sacraments and the supervision of the parishes Bishop Kearney aids Archbishop Molloy. Through his efforts the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine was estab- lished. Realizing that the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow he provided a way where- by these future leaders could increase their knowledge of Catholicism. Catholics for genera- tions to come owe a great debt of thanks to Bishop Kearney.
