ITN? w- 1 .I 71:42 Seniafzfi 144 you Qc Quad: '70 Some prom and the crowning of John Zola and Constance Kubiak as Catholic Press king and queen. The culmination of all dreams was THE ALBECRTONIAN, our book of beautiful memories. Thoughwe had hankered after that bliss- ful day of graduation, we clung tenaciously to each precious moment as it slipped away into eternity. We can never iorget ourlighter moments. Chester was fond of creating riots by gestering excuses in health classesg then, Johnny, our floor-walker, was ever on the beatg 'Delphine insisted that one group of seniors were watch-clockersn during Elnglishg Ciocia Ne1l1s's commands to empty the waste-basket and close the win- dows were seldom obeyedg Helen Krall came into algebra for rest periods. And as a fitting chapter to our story, commencement. Commencement meant moving out into the world, each with his individual visions of future accomplish- ments. Classes will come andclasses will gog but the spirit of St. Adalbert High will stay, filling each in-coming and each out- going class with ambitions...memories... drearnsmnot unlike ours. With candles glowing, seniors gathered to initiate the lighting of the Christmas Candle which will become an Albe rtonian tradition for years to czorne. Geraldine Dabkowska, class president, is lighting the candle.
