Fun Bunch Exciting! Fun! Worthwhile! These are just a few of the words that could be used to describe this year's club activi- ties at Spruce Creek! Our Homecoming Carnival was made more special than ever, with the hard work and determination the clubs poured into it . . . making it a fantastic achievement! For hungry contestants, Anchor sponsored a cake walk, while F.H.A.'s pie-throwing contest was a delicious success! A French Club's bake sale helped put a few pounds on every- one! For working off all the victuals,' of the day, the Out- doorsmen Club sponsored a bicycle race, the Surf Club had a skateboard contest, Civitan offered pillow fights, and the Pep Club had a kissing booth! Every club contributed some- thing stimulating and entertaining! .LV Q During the Christmas season, Beta Club sponsored an exciting door decorating contest which transformed our school into a place of magical wonder. They also visited Happy Corners School for the retarded where they made everyone feel extremely special. Anchor provided an inexpensive mailing service for Christmas cards which delighted everyone! Fun Bunch Key-Keyettes had a party in Sep- Q'-fl' tember which gave everyone a chance to water ski, eat, and become better acquainted with everyone else! S.G.A. has been active this year with every- thing from undertaking the enormous job of organizing the Homecoming Carnival to trying to establish better communication with fellow students through Ear Dayf, Spruce Creek High School won the office of Presi- dent School for Floridais District 3 at S.G.Afs annual state convention. The Chorus also was busy with numerous concerts and performances, including a trip to Washington, D.C. They presented an excellent musical comedy in February - The Pajama Game! For intellectually inclined students, National Honor Soci- ety and Beta offered unlimited opportunities. There were other interest Clubs ranging from Brain Team to Surf Club. Finally, the Yearbook Staff has worked hard this year to produce a book that we hope everyone will enjoy! Long hours, determination, and inspiration has produced a record of this .very special '76-'77 school year which shall be remembered. . .foreverl 187
