She plays an integral part in the processing and transferring of schedules. compiling and updating student records, and coordinating all work done by Data Processing. She also helps in the planning of gradu- ation exercises. Despite her busy schedule. Miss Posey always has time to listen and give a word of encouragement. MR. ROBINSON plays an important part in the goings on at Stwru kf'He.r at all times be aware of different activities and problems that arise. As Associate Principal. Mr. Robinson must be ready to take over in Mr, Gold's absence. Wligit other man could keep up with so much and still have time to smile and talk with the students? He works diligently to keep student affairs operating smoothly and effi- ciently. He is a truly unique individual. MR. HORTQN is one of the two Assistant Principals. He is respon- sible for compiling all the information that goes into the booklet that describes the courses offered. He also is responsible for textbook selec- tion and inventory. He works with the teachers to set a standard for each of the courses. His work is shown largely in everyday activity around the school. His pleasant smile and congenial manner are positive assets to life at S.CI.H.S.

Principals Mr. Howard Gold Principal In the future, when reminiscing about our high school days at Spruce Creek, a memory of INQLQQLD will surely come to mind. Perhaps it will be of a pleasant face greeting everyone and always smiling. Maybe it will be of a man cas- ually bent over a podium in front of the entire student body quietly telling a joke. Perhaps it will be of the man who dressed up in cowboy attire and had a shootout with a stu- dent at one of the pep rallies. Possibly it will be of a kind and gentle voice telling us to please disregard the previous fire alarm. Perhaps it will simply be a man with a deep con- cern for what's best for Spruce Creek High. These glimpses prove that this man is of the highest caliber. Only through his help and guidance has Spruce Creek become what it is today. Admmistra tion Milton Wetherington The Administration of Spruce Creek underwent some changes this year. Mr. Wetherington, Mr. Matthews, and Coach Haynes were designated attendance supervisors for seniors, juniors, and sophomores respectively. These three men not only helped keep our school running smoothly, but also found time to teach a variety of classes, coach several different sports, and become actively involved club spon- sors.
