She has given us guidance when it was most needed, backed all of our un- dertakings, and had faith in all that we did. Most of all, though, in our last year of high school, she was been a friend to each of us at all times. Mrs. Terry is a beautiful per- son, both inside and out, and is a good example for all to fol- low. She is a well-loved and respected teacher. It is with great honor and admiration that we dedicate this year- book to such a wonderful lady. 2 Bill Tucker English Robert Harris Library—Coach Eugene Tucker Science Betty Hill Math Ernest Dewey Bagley Principal 4 Trudy Campbell Barbara Williams Special Education Home Economics Cal Campbell Math—Coach i Gail Davidson Guidance Counselor 5 Don Dollar Government—Social Science Cynthia Lesley—English Doug Stafford Science David Earwood—Coach and P.E. 6 Glenda Bice—Gifted Resource Peggy Jones—Coach and P.E. The cast voted John Johnson, the hack direc- tor, as Best Actor and Angie McAvoy, the fun- niest lady in show business, as Best Actress. Birdie Baker, the bow-legged cowboy, was vot- ed as Best Supporting Actor and Joyce Missil- dine, private secretary to Junior, was voted as Best Supporting Actress. The story followed Junior Dover, Jr., a young film producer, as he tried to save his crumbling film empire. Junior signed all the famous Holly- wood stars such as Chuckles Lafoon and Bron- co Whinny to star in his new disaster film DIS- ASTERAMA. Trouble began when each star thought that he or she was the “only” star. When the sneak preview of the film was shown, the entire cast became angry and threatened Junior. The club has cheered the Tigers to many victories this year. By selling Tiger memorabilia, they were able to firmly establish next year’s Pep Club. Although many of them are graduating, they will al- ways support their glorious Tigers. Each Friday night they pleased every crowd with amazing sound during the football season. The band, color guard, and drum major each received superi- or ratings at the Alabaster Marching Festival. The majorettes, a new attraction, received a superior rating at the Mid-South Festival held in Gadsden. The band performed at the Homecoming pa- rade. Christmas parade, and marched during the Grab Your Bonnet day. The band re- ceived a much needed and deserved ban- droom. The band program looks good for the future. Our Tigers also won the Christmas tournament and were run- ners up to Oneonta in the Area 11 tournament. Our team lost three games to Oneonta and one to Ashville but our victories far outshined our losses. For his outstanding coaching achieve- ments Coach Campbell was chosen as St. Clair County's Coach of the Year .
