THE ODD COUPLE The drama department's final production of the year was The Odd Couple , a play written by Neil Simon. With much the success of last year's Bare- foot in the Park this was enjoyed by all - those who saw the play and those who participated in it. Between Oscar's carefree, fun-loving attitude and Felix's cleaning and moose calls, the audience was kept in hysterics through the antics of the poker game crew and the giggling coo-coo Pigeon sisters. With Gregg Smith and Stuart Clark leading the play as the odd couple, the production was a good way to top off the year for Mr. Peterson and the drama department. THE MIRACLE WORKER The Miracle Worker was presented in February with Peggy Smith and Rachael Knight playing the lead roles of Annie Sullivan and Helen Keller. These girls did an excellent job in two very demanding roles portraying several different emotions. Another outstanding feature of this production was the set. The props used included a working water pump, live plants, and several pieces of antique furniture which added to the total atmosphere and effect of the play.
