SENIOR PROM With flashing lights on a red and blue Spirit of '76 , the senior assembly opened. This show of senior pride set the mood for the entire assembly and dance. Various displays of talent were intro- duced by the three Spirits of '76 who tied the assembly together. The royalty was introduced in a dreamy fashion with Mark Fullmer and Jim Pratt singing the theme song, We May Never Pass This Way Again . Every senior in the school left feeling just a little melancholy, realizing, perhaps for the first time, that these times can never be relived. That night the Art Gallery was filled with people dancing to the music of Honey and Soul . The last of the seniors to promenade were king and queen. Jack Elmer and Pam Miner; prince and princess, Daniel Stuart and Joanne Dean; duke and duchess, David Cobbley and Sherri Fullmer. 22

SWEETHEART BALL 24 Following the yellow brick road, Cindy Sophomore searched desperately for her secret valentine. Along the way, she ran into Brainless Junior and Heartless Senior, who joined her in hopes of finding their missing parts. Much to their disappoint- ment, at the end of the road they found that there was no hope for them. However, Cindy found her Stanley Super Sophomore and they lived happily ever after! Does that sound like a sophomore assembly or does that sound like a sophomore assembly?!? Well, it was the sophomore's introduction to their Sweetheart Ball. After all the scenery was gone and the munchguts were off stage, Glen Barney and Franky Marsh were introduced as this year's royalty, while little Chrissy Pratt sang the theme song, Best of My Love. The following evening, they were again introduced at the dance, this time with the group. Peace and Quiet, playing the theme.
