Class Prophecy We are now gathered in the new Memorial Hall, which was built in honor of the Brain Greats of l958 . The class for which it was built is now meeting for a banquet, after ten years of departure. Our Master of Ceremonies for the night will be none other than the best known lecturer and commentator in the land. She is none other than a laboring accountant, and holder of the women's wrestling title, Carolyn Haney. Will you take charge, Miss Haney? Thank you Mr. Young. Our first guest tonight is the famous Mary George Christenberry who has distinguished herself by graduating with honors from North Texas State College and is now a successful homemaking teacher. Dolly and Kenneth Burkhalter are the proud parents of eleven boys who play football for Notre Dame. Betty Watkins is now happily married to an English Professor at A8rM. Roy Joe Bobo is now a professor of mathematics at North Texas State College. Sue Oxford is a designer for the Vogue Magazine. After nine years of study in Paris she has completed her new Plastic Atomic Energy Dress and is now working on the H-Bomb bathing suit. Larry Fox is building a love nest for two with the Oxford Contracting Co. Lynn Browning has just set sail on the sea of matrimony, and he is quite sea- sick at this time. We read in the papers most everyday that Cora Thompson is married to her thirteenth husband, it seems she can't get rid of him, because thirteen is un- lucky. We hear Gay is at her beautiful beach home. Her four children are having a gay time swimming in the ocean while her well-to-do husband, Thomas Tune, is at work at his office in the city. Charles Jackson is now a famous Hill-Billy singer. Though he has reached the top of the ladder of success, his hat size remains the same. Bill Cooper is the mainspring in a large peanut factory, Nuts 81 Nuts, Inc. He now stands a chance of losing his job as there is a shortage in profit of parched peanuts. Bonnie Hall who gained distinction from her organization of Old Maids Club at Reno, has been in the limelight. She is still playing hard to get since she was iilted by her latest prospect. Ben Don Allison has become quite famous because of his demonstration of inner-spring mattresses in the show window at Snooze 8. Snare Dept. Store. Buddy Martin and Gale Wood, the old pals, are working on a novel called Men's Choice. It is complete and unabridged. They are both allergic to women. Bill Young is still wearing his senior ring which he was so proud of and thought he'd never get. Catherine Creamer is now married to a native of Springtown. Her brick home faces the Pacific Ocean where she rents ocean liners to newly weds. B. L. Chapman is now coaching football at T.W.C. We hear he hasn't lost a game. Sam Taliaferro just completed a course in geology and is now in cahoots with Bill Henry, a big oil man in Oklahoma. He and Henry's young daughter get along just fine. Our last celebrities, who are by no means' last in the opinions of all who come in contact with them, are Bill Thompson and Don Newsom. Bill is a very talented television star. He is sponsored by Don, the wealthy Swoon Master , who owns all broadcasting hookups and hangovers. Don has offered Bill a raise of 33,000 a day to slow down and give the long forgotten Elvis Presley a chance to reappear. The program now being over with a dispersal ofthe mob and a sincere prom- ise to meet again in another lO years, the celebration ends. Goodbye!
