12 President's Message By - Donald R. Socha As we the Class of 1967 of Springfield Trade High School, come to the end of our high school days, we suddenly realize that the administration and teachers of our school deserve our sincere thanks for their diligent efforts. We would not be able to go into the world of to- day without the specialized skills and knowledge we have developed for success. We especially appreciate the help of our class advisors, Mrs. Kramer, Miss Murphy, Mr. Howes, Mr. Hutcheons, Mr. Gulluni and the many others who have assisted and guided us throughout our years at Springfield Trade High School. Now is the time when we really appreciate our parents. It was their encouragement and assistance which helped us through our high school days. Without their love and patience it would have been impossible to have obtained the knowledge and skills we now possess. The time has come for us to correlate our knowledge and abilities which enable us to con- front the serious problems of today. In this time of crisis, we must be ready to face life with an intelligent outlook and with a patriotic spirit. Our leadership will help determine the future state of our country and will contribute to the governing of our modern day world. With these ideas clearly in mind, we resolve to go forth into the world of work, deter- mined to reflect credit upon our parents, Trade High School and ourselves.
