IN MEMORIUM Private Calvin R. Wilson, nineteen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Wilson of 101 Hampden Road, East Longmeadow was killed in action in Vietnam on January 20, 1967. Details of his death are not available. Calvin graduated from Trade High School ir. June, 1965. He was a member of the electrical shop and after graduation gained employment as an electrician's helper at Cromwell Mills in Indian Orchard. He entered the Army in the spring of 1966 and left for Vietnam in October of the same year. Calvin was active in 4-H activitiies; he won many trophies at the New England Poultry Show and the Youth Fair of Old Sturbridge Village. Army Private Gus Stovall, Jr., twenty-one-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Stovall of 11 Carpenter Court, Springfield lost his life irs Vietnam on March 9, 1967 by enemy fire. Gus was a 1964 graduate of Trade High School. While in school he took an active part in varsity athlet- ics, particularly wrestling. A member of the machine shop practices course, Gus gained employment in his chosen field after grad- vation He entered the Army in December. 1965, and was sent to Vietam after many months of training.
