Student Council The student council is the student representative body, comprised of two representatives from each shop group. Its purpose is to give the students of Trade High, an op- portunity to have a voice in matters pertaining to life in the school. The administration of the school use the Student Council as a sounding- board for proposed changes. It makes recommendation to princi- pal Garvey, which always receives his prompt and whole-hearted sup- port. Ju Memoriam Mrs. Theresa Curley Mrs. Theresa Curley was a valued member of our office force for eight years. She handled records for the veterans and was most helpful to them. Always cheerful and willing, she is a great loss to our staff. REQUIESCAT IN PACE Mr. James H. Hill Mr. James H. Hill, a teacher of machine shop related subjects for thirty - four years, passed away January 6, 1956. Mr. Hill was a kind and patient man and aextraordinary teacher, who was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. The success of his students was always foremost in his mind. He is greatly missed by his friends on the faculty of Trade High School. REQUIESCAT IN PACE
