Advisory Committees Advisory Committees composed of representatives of local business, trades, and industries, are appointed for each trade in the school as required by the State Department of Vocational Education. Their function is to assist in an advisory capacity concerning new trends, procedures, and course requirements so that prospective workers may be adequately informed of current requirements.
