One half day is devoted to Shop and the other half to Related and Academic subjects. Related science and anatomy are essential studies for beauty culture girls. Girls and women enrolled in other courses at Trade School may make appointments for services. Upon completion of the course, girls are required to take state board examinations in order to receive an operator’s license. This | license qualifies them to work in beauty shops. — Good grooming is recognized as one of the best morale build- ers. Professional beauty services are no longer a luxury but a — necessity.
