DRAFTING RAFTING might justly be called the cradle of industry. It is a profes- sion upon which all other trades depend. No machine or building is built without a complete plan showing what the finished product will consist of. This is what the students of the drafting de- partment are being taught to do. That is to lay the plan on paper neatly and accurately in every detail. a VATS!
