HE work in the Cabinet Shop is so laid out that the student learns not only how to make a cabinet but he also learns how to design and draw one up in the drawing room. A sketch of each job is presented to the pupil with an explanation by the instructor. The boy now makes a scale drawing of the desired article; from which a blue print is made. The blue print is used in the shop in the actual production of the cabi- net.
