Try outs were scheduled at the beginning of the year for each Junior high chorus resulting in an enrollment of forty students ln the 7th Grade Chorus and twenty seven students in the 8th Grade Chorus. Each is an enthusiastic group which provides keen competition between the two groupe. The highlight of music in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade intermediate music classes ls the preparation for the annual Christmas grade program and the annual Spring Operetta. In the classroom these grades learn the fundamentals of music through song. Part work ls introduced in the 4th grade, and 2 part songs are used consistently throughout the 5th and 6th grades along with the introduction of 3 part songs in the 6th grads The intermediate grade music is taught by Mr. Krlclbaum 6 i .' : F .
