'Under the supervision of Mr. Pepper, students in Link Club discuss the many controversial issues ofthe day. This year Link discussed mostly the war in Viet Nam and the Hippie society ver- sus our society. National Thespian officers are Patty McElroy, presidentg Kirby Kellar, treasurerg Connie Boblitt, secretaryg Jim Shuman, vice-president. ational Thespians Hold Assembl for lnitiation This year for the first time, the National Thespian initiation was conducted during an as- sembly. Those students who have earned ten points or more by taking part in the school plays are initiated into a life- time membership. To earn these points, a per- son must be in the cast or crew of any play during the school year. This year the National Thespians sponsored the play Dear Me, The Sky Is Falling. Dave Knight lights the candle sym- bolizing music during the National X N Thespian initiation. 89
