This theme was elaborated on by different posters and signs for the second-floor hall to let the students know that the library was boosting South. Enrollment of the Library Club is made up of the student aides who relinquish their study hall periods to work in the library. The officers of Spanish Club, Nataline Settles, secretaryg Larry Hackett, presidentg and Jean Castillo, vice-president, take time out to enjoy a little music. The Spanish Club enlightens the members on the Spanish customs and familiarizes the students with the Spanish language. Besides the initiation for the new members in November, a Spanish Choir from Piqua sang at Christmas. A feature-length movie, a drama of a short story, and a humorous play found theilr way into the El Espanol calendar. A trip to El Toro Restaurant in Columbus for a Mexican dinner topped a very active Spanish Club year. El Club Espanol Has Busy Year Members of Spanish Clubs of Piqua and South get together at Christmas for the traditional breaking of the piflata. 85

'Under the supervision of Mr. Pepper, students in Link Club discuss the many controversial issues ofthe day. This year Link discussed mostly the war in Viet Nam and the Hippie society ver- sus our society.
