Mr. Chiracosta, executive director of J. A., supervises the movements of almost 400 young men and women. Fritz Johnson and Cecil McElnaney, both of N. R. Enterprises, work on their weekly records. Nlrearn by Doingw ls .l.A.'s Motto 72 Junior Achievement is an interna- tional organization for high school students. J. A.'s purpose is to educate tomorrow's employees in the business fundamentals today. The J. A. companies raise money for working capital, produce and sell products, buy materials, manage their own companies, earn money in salaries and in commissions, and elect their own officers. Jacioh QI. HJ had approximately 32500 in sales, 551900 above the na- tioal average. Junior Achievers from various schools work on one company's assembly line.

Beverly Powell jumps to find where the baseball went at the Future Nurses picnic. Future Nurses Clubfs activities for the year included initiation of 23 new members, a tour of the Joint Vo- cational School, where the members learned of the de- grees of nursing which can be obtained, a film from the National League of Nursingg a program of refresh- ments and entertainment at the Clark County Home for the Aged in Marchg and the election of the 1968-1969 officers in April. Sponsored by school nurse Mrs. Norma Boho, the club provides valuable information as well as interesting activities fo1' girls who are interested in a nursing career. Future Nurses Tour ,l.V. . At the Future Nurses initiation, officers Becky Sharp, secretaryg Pat Hayes, treasurer, Margie Rogers, vice- presidentg and Beverly Powell, president, light the candles used in initiation. 74
