Mr. Leonard Wilson, advisor, and the year- book staff start planning the yearbook dur- ing summer vacation. Cropping pictures, photographing, typing, drawing rough drafts and layouts are a few of the many jobs of the yearbook staff. 59

Alice Wolf, B.A. .lournalism English The Herald is a newspaper which is published bi-weekly by the journalism class and is available to all students and faculty at l5c a copy or 31.25 a year. The Herald consists of articles such as reports of sports and plays, news events, feature stories, and advertise- ments. At the beginning of this year, the Herald added a new feature called the Scholastic Roto. This paper contained many articles of interest to the students. Mrs. Wolf is the supervisor of this class. 1 , ' I This building offers flrst views from Selma Road of the new .1 o1nt Vocational School. Joint Vocational The Joint Vocational School opened in the fall of 1967. For the 1968-1969 school year, 19 programs in 25 occupational areas will be offered. The school is operated for jun- ior and senior students who have interests in vocational education. Students from eight area schools are participating in this program, including 140 students from South. Industrial Arts provides skills for the future for Benny Robertson.
