Varsity cheerleaders for the 1967-1968 school year are Nancy Tipton, Jenny Farthing, Krista Jones, Katie Morean, Jean Castillo, Susan Stiles, Debi Stephenson. Cheerleaders: A Mixture of Grace, Enthusiasm, and portsmanship Cheerleading is a serious pastime for the ten girls repre- senting South High School. Co-ordination, skill and an out- going personality are just a few of the special qualities a good cheerleader needs to possess. Cheerleaders are elected in their sophomore year to ,serve until graduation.
