The Gymkana Troupe takes a moment to relax during practice for the 1968 Gymkana Show, Hawaiian Luau. Hawaiian Luau Presented as 1963 Gymkana how On April 26, the Gymkana Troupe pre- sented Hawaiian Luaun as their 1968 Cymkana Show. The acts included couple stunts, free exercise, tumbling, side horse, and individual performances. The true highlight of the show was the appearance of George of the ,lungle and his girl friend, performed by Cary John- son and Waleka Hixon. Ceorge's esca- pades made the audience laugh and ap- plaud with approval. Under the direction of Mrs. Ann Fields and lVIr. Richard Dellapina, all the acts were performed with skill and precision to make for an evening of pure entertain- ment. . l33

Students dressed casually and spent the evening playing games such as volleyball and the HSoul Sit. An Hauthenticv gypsy was called in to rnystify and amaze those who dared to enter her parlor. This was only the beginning of the ex- citing activities that awaited those who at- tended 4'Fun Night. Although this was the first activity of this kind, the event regis- tered as a success for those in attendance.
