Grace and her customers prepare them- selves for the long night ahead. On November 17 and 18 the Junior Class of South High School presented the play Bus Stop. The drama concerns the lives of eight people who must spend the night at a roadside restaurant because bad weather prevents the bus from leaving. 1 Grace, the proprietor, Emma, the waitressg Will, the bus driverg the four passengers-Bo, Cherie, Virgil, and Dr. Lyman-spend a long night in Grace's Diner. The two main characters are Bo, a naive country boy, and Cherie, the girl that he has literally ab- ducted and is taking home to marry. During this night each person's life takes on a new and different meaning. As the bus leaves the following morning, each seems to have gained what he had lost. Pat Hays works with the skill of an artist to make sure that Robert Patton's make up is perfect. y Q C ,,,y, ,y 3 i Junior Sharon McLaughlin concentrates on finishing the scenery before opening night.
