Queens and escorts smile proudly as they are introduced at the son and Chris Adams, Beverly Wehrs and Lynn Johnson, Lynn Homecoming Dance, They are Debi Adkins and Mike Hough, Jackson and Chuck James. Debbi Stephenson and James Cap Willoughby, Frankie Ander- i Lovely ueens Brighten Homecoming Homecoming Queen Beverly Wehrs receives a bouquet of red roses from Susan 1 Stiles as escort Nick Luhbers smiles proudly. l Homecoming is the high point of the foot- iall season. During this time five beautiful loung ladies from the senior class are selected Q0 reign as homecoming queens. Nominations ire made in the senior homerooms. From those iominated all but fifteen girls are eliminated. y These girls are then introduced to the juniors ind seniors at a special assembly. They are 'oted upon and the top five are selected to the ,nomecoming court. lt is always a hard decision to make, but he students always choose girls of whom South can be proud. Military Ball Highlights Band Members, Year ick Hihger and Melissa Dunmire discuss the highlights of the Military Ball with riends. An important event in the fall band schedule is the Military Ball. It is at- tended hy hand members from schools throughout the county. Each year the Military Ball is held at a different school. Each school is re- sponsible for a particular part of the deco- rations. This year North High hosted the dance. The theme, 'GLove ls a Ballf' was carried out in good taste and with great skill.
