The Cornhusker's Party displays the kind of spirit that helped them win the election. South High's seniors participated in Stu- dent Government Day on April 4. During the weeks before Student Government Day, the candidates were chosen by the coun- selors, and parties were formed to promote the candidates. The proceedings went- as usual this year. The only unusual thing about this year's election was the enthusiasm of the students involved. The election assembly was one of the most lively that South has ever had. The Cornhusker's Party defeated the Inde- pendent Indians in the election. The win- ning party then appointed students to fill the many city posts for a day. tudents Are Enthusiastic City Clerk Willna Stewart shows Nola Wallace, who was the student city clerk, some of the details of her job.
