€NE ONLY ONE ACT? There were actually three student directed one acts. The One Act plays are actually designed to let different students participate and act on stage. The Freshman-Sophomore One Act An Open and Shut Case was directed by Peter Bressoud and assisted by An- dy Zimmerman. This murder mystery by John Mattera was indeed a fine story with a twisted ending. The Sophomore- Junior One Act, Special Guest was intense drama written by Donald Elsor and under the direction of Melissa Talor who was assisted by Heidi Meyer. The comedy When Death Do Us Part writ- ten by Cory Reed was put on by the Junior-Senior group under the direction of Chris Kattell who was assisted by Brad Comerford. §A»iE SWEETiES The theme of this year ' s Sadie Hawkins, Valentine ' s dance was a switch from the usual Sadie Hawkins hoe down. The switch came about when the organizers decided to try something different by combining Sadies with a Valentine ' s dance just three days before the romantic holiday. Girls lassooed their dates and jumped into North on Saturday February 11, where they could have their pictures taken with their sweethearts, or get married or even find out the future at a special fortune telling game. This year ' s Sadies had some special twists but in the end it was a good time and hopefully everyone who leaped into love came back down softly. Don ' t shoot! Pat Day ties the knot for Ed Watson and Michelle Gibeau. 78
