The swim teams at North dove right into the season this year. The women got 4th place at the Lima Invitational, and 7th at the Wright State Invitational. Terri Miller placed 3rd In the 50 Free and 5th in the 100 Free to qualify for Districts. Wendy Turner placed 8th in the 100 Butterfly to qualify her for Districts. The men won 7 and lost 1 in the dual meets, and in the Invitationals they placed 1st at Lima, and 4th at Wright State. In the Sectionals Eric Diederichs placed 1st in the 100 Backstroke to qualify for Districts. He placed 4th in the 100 Backtroke to be the first qualifier for state from North in seven years.
