iA Big Brothersij and Sisters Being the new kid on the block isn ' t easy, even when the new block is in- habited by Panthers. But through the widsom and guidance of the Big Brothers and Sisters, freshmen at North found the transition from the various middle schools to be pretty smooth. From leading school tours to instructing about student handbook regulations to helping with individual schedules, the Bigs were there to lead a Big helping hand. THAT ' S ENTERTAINMENT! And it was entertainment. The Fall Variety Show at North is always an incredibly fun and enjoyable event. The acts included rock bands, faculty dancing and singing, acting and an unforgettable one night appearance of the Rock ' n Roll legend, Rock Pyle. This year ' s program also included break dancing, comedy and acrobatics. The Variety Show gives all of our closet entertainers a chance to perform for a live audience instead of in front of a mirror at home. Hopefully, this activity will continue at North for a long time.
