L T ERRIFIC O V E E N N I S quoted the coach as she sum- med up the season. The women ' s tennis team, by far, had one of the most exciting seasons North has ever seen. With the coming of first-year coach Connie Bost also came a long string of victories. The entire Varsity team qualified for the district tournament which was held in Cincinnati. This was a first ever for North. Rachael Johnson, a freshman, playing first won the Sectional, placed 4th in the District, and was a Quarter Finalist in the State Tournament. Anne Marie Heine and Trish Hultz, who shared the title of MVP, played as Var sity ' s first doubles team and were undefeated in all of their Western Ohio League matches. Jane Warren and Cathy Woodburn were team cap- tains, playing 2nd and 3rd singles positions respectively. Molly Carmosino, Stef Sayers, and Stacey Walters had undefeated seasons. Katy Brougher and Freshman partner Jennie Booth played Varsity second doubles and qualified for Districts. The entire 1983 Women ' s Tennis Team will stand as a model for the teams of the future. Congratulations and thanks for serving North an outstanding season. Left to Right, 1st row: Holtz Rachael Johnson, Trisch, Anne Carmasino, Sarah McGregor, Katy Brougher, Brooke Miller, and Cathy Woodburn. 2nd row: Stacey Walters, Shelly Broock, Stephanie Sayres, Sue Veskauf, Molly Car- masino, Anne-Marie Heine, Jenny Booth, Jane Warren and Coach Connie Bost.
