Long rehearsals, calendar sales, contests, concerts, and fun kept the 1971 Symphonic Band continuously involved in something. Band members got a chance to do their own thing at concerts with solos, trios, and quartets. Guest musicians this year included the Chenowiths, who soloed on the French horn and the trombone, and the South High trombone section. North Bands Combine Marching Band Officers FIRST ROW: Margie Diehl, Secretary-Treasurer; Linda Blackwood, Publicity Manager; and Terry Newell, Librarian.
