Musicians Inspire Pep Reserve Pep Band FIRST ROW: Terri Jones, Cindy Riffe, Anne Guyton, Sue Yoder, Bill Knasel, and Veda Spicer. SECOND ROW: Sue Hamilton, Marian Carey, Rob Carse, Jeffery Laird, Eric Rubenoff, and Charlene Stooksberry. Pep Band FIRST ROW: Bill Nigel, Chuck Young, Gary Schreiber, Russ Dern, and Nathan Eckels. SECOND ROW: Mike Porter, LxDnnie Nickels, Jim Yeazell, Steve Barnes, Steve Haupt, and John Hart. THIRD ROW: Lowell Wolfe, Tom Wilson, di- rector, and Terry Black. Pep sums up the spirit of this year ' s Pep Band. Always ready to blare out a tune, the Pep Band attended every home basketball game and kept the Panther spirit alive as the teams retired to their locker rooms. Besides performing rock numbers, the Pep Band was always at the pep rallies bringing the students to their feet with the Fight Song and Pink Panther.

And Entertain Dance Band FIRST ROW: Bill Nigel, Gary Schreiber, Russ Dern, and Nathan Eckels. SECOND ROW: Tom Wilson, director. Chuck Young, Jim Yeazell, Steve Barnes, Lonnie Nickels, Steve Haupt, and John Hart. THIRD ROW: Mark Smarelli. The 1971 Dance Band demonstrated the versatility of high school musicians, per- forming numbers which ranged from Going Out of My Head to such old favor- ites as You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby. After numerous performances before the band parents, the Dance Band was featured in a medley of New York tunes at the Spring Band Concert. The Dance Band ' s musical season was success- fully completed by accom- panying the Clark Junior High musical, So This Is Paris. The jjep band promotes enthusiasm.
