I The group was affiliated again with the Iunior Classi- It H J cal League. This year the members presented to the ' Seniors the Iunior Classical League award key which is I a special award of sterling silver given as a mark of recognition for meritorious service to the chapter. The Latin Club presented its usual one-act play in the spring.

They marched at all football games, performing at half-time. Besides performing in the annual band concert, they went with Miss Gamble to the Disabled American Veterans' post where they danced and even sat on Santa's knee. Mary Sue Ernerick was awarded a trophy by a representative of the Toledo parade committee for her splendid performance in the parade which celebrated the opening of the new station. Musical selections and a skit on books were given. The pro- ceeds have been used ior new book requests and The , Toledo Times. The librarians were required sto pass a test after the first six weeks this year in order to qualify for their positions. The Library Club gave the library Mademoiselle and Field and Stream magazine subscriptions for this year. Each year we hope to honor Seniors who have served ' as librarians. T No reading circle books were ordered this year because of low finances. With the new school levy we hope to add new books. More people were doing research than at any other time. However, fiction and non-fiction patronage could be in- creased. .mm 33
