As the season rolled on and the players gained experience, they were moved up to the Varsity squad. Paul Mohr, Don Dickerson, Jack Bade, Len Bucher, Lewis Cramer, and Dick Hughes were moved up to the Varsity team and proved to be valuable players. Even with the loss of these players, the Reserves continued to improve and ended the season as a well balanced team. The Reserve had only seven players at the end of the sea- son, but all will be back next year and with the experience gained this year should pro- vide a nucleus of a championship team next year.

These boys came to school very l - - early each morning in order to prac- tice before school. They worked very T' hard and were able to win sixteen games out of nineteen. In the Lucas County Junior High Tournament they won the trophy by beating Whitehouse by a score of 22-19, and Monclova by a score of 22-18. The Reserve and Varsity teams should benefit by having this kind of material coming up.
