Both the Varsity and Reserve teams have shown remarkable improvement over those of past seasons. Due credit should be given to Coach Barnes and Assistant Coach Crim for their excel- lent work in making the Holland teams recognized as competitors again in the Lucas County Tournament. As the season rolled on and the players gained experience, they were moved up to the Varsity squad. Paul Mohr, Don Dickerson, Jack Bade, Len Bucher, Lewis Cramer, and Dick Hughes were moved up to the Varsity team and proved to be valuable players. Even with the loss of these players, the Reserves continued to improve and ended the season as a well balanced team. The Reserve had only seven players at the end of the sea- son, but all will be back next year and with the experience gained this year should pro- vide a nucleus of a championship team next year.
