Of the eight issues published each year, the Seniors edit the first seven, the newly elected Junior Staff edits the last issue in order to gain practical experience which will enable them to begin the first fall issue with a more thorough understanding of newspaper work. The experience of operating the mimeo- graph, using the mimeoscope, cutting stencils, planning pages, and numerous other tasks that may be useful to them in future years. The paper is entirely self-supporting and a Town Tattler Fund is maintained through the sales and advertising. All supplies, paper, ink, stencils, and equipment are purchased out of this fund. Arranging the work so that it would be done during study periods and the advisor's free periods presented the greatest obstacle in getting the Tattler out on tirne, but, by doing this work after school hours, we man- aged to get the Tattler out on time on all but two occasions-a record in itself. 4
