4, vb: ' AA 'M' - - A 5 Last Will and Testament We, the members of the Senior Class of 1947, Springfield Local High School, City of Holland, County of Lucas, State of Ohio, being of sound mind and memory, do make, ordain, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. FIRST: To Springfield Local High School, we will another Senior Class that can devise as many money- making schemes as the one now departing. CWe trust that someday we will all be financial wizardsj SECOND: To Mr. Bishop, we do will and bequeath a special plane to take his Seniors on their trips. To Mr. Moore, we do will and bequeath an elevator to enable him to go up and down stairs more quickly, To Mrs. White, we do will and bequeath enough new typewriters to keep both her Juniors and Seniors happy. To Mrs. Bower, we do will and bequeath a new Senior Class composed of nothing but ladies and gentlemen. To Mr. Shaver, we do will and bequeath some sunshine to make his crops grow this summer. To Mr. Roberts, we do will and bequeath a book on the subject of Why Women Talk So Much. To Mrs, Stein, we do will and bequeath a pad of detentions to pass out to the Senior boys in seventh period study hall. To Mrs. Powers, we do will and bequeath some Latin students that can recite Latin backwards and forwards and still know what it means. To Mrs. Fye, we do will and bequeath some larger seats for her long-legged seventh grade boys. To Mr. Deppen, we do will and bequeath some highly trained mechanics to keep his Model A in good shape. To Mrs. Arnold, we do will and bequeath an automatic dishwasher to make sure the girls get the dishes done. To Mr, Barrett, we do will and bequeath some horns that are guaranteed not to play sour notes. To Mr. Kinsel, we do will and bequeath a new 1950 Willys built for speed. To Mr. Barnes, we do will and bequeath some new equipment for the athletic department. To Mr. Crim, we do will and bequeath a chamPi01'1ShiP Reserve Basketball Team- To Mrs. Hazel, we do will and bequeath a brand new set of maps for her History and Government classes. To Miss Gamble, we do will and bequeath a generous supply of nerve tonic to take while she is rehearsing for an operetta or a concert. , THIRD: To the JUNIOR Class, we pass on the Tattler Staffs ability to get the Tattler out on time.
